Raghav's back, with the next game that TJC played, against our closest rivals VJC, in what ive have officially named, the Marine Parade Derby. The toss was won by TJC captain Bala, and we sent VJC in to bat.After some brilliant bowling from everyone, VJC were all out for 143. Some good bowling from the captain and Anantha packed them up. Then it was up to TJC to chase down 144 for the win.
TJC got an early scare when the top 3 collapsed for a combined score of 1. Yes. We had a bad day.
But an amazing knock by Anantha (32 of like 16 balls!!!), followed by good middle order batting from Ishaan, Harish, Devang and Abhishek finished the game off for us. Harish played the Hero, holding one end firmly, playing a beautiful knock.
So thats it, stay tuned for the next game, TJC vs RJC (the best school in Singapore. Ouch)
